Cities are constructed building by building and block by block, every project and client vision is unique but adds to the greater sum. Urban Werks LLC was founded with this as a principle, we are committed to high quality architecture and urban environments and the process it take to get there.  

 

Our Team


Rob Wagstaff

Rob is owner and principle of Urban Werks LLC, A full service architecture and planning firm base in the City of St. Louis. Rob’s work as an architect has always been driven by a strong sense of community identity has defined by place or environment.

He has over 25 years’ experience as a professional, after earning his Bachelors of Architecture from Drury University  and has worked on a wide spectrum of projects with a multitude of clients; housing, historic adaptive reuse, ecclesiastical, commercial, retail and institutional jobs, from new banks and athletic centers to church remodels and day cares. In recent years he has specialized in housing with an emphasis on historic adaptive reuse of existing buildings.

With a Masters in Urban Design from Oxfords Brookes University in Oxford UK, Rob specializes in community master planning that improves quality of life. 

He founded his independent practice, Urban Werks LLC in August of 2012 with an emphasis on historic adaptive reuse, community building, urban design and integrated urban solutions

Nick Stinebrook

Nick is an architectural associate working towards licensure in Missouri and has been working at Urban Werks LLC since July 2016. He has a Masters Degree in Architecture from the University of Kansas and has over 4 years’ experience working in the field.  

Through working through all aspects of the construction process Nick has developed an understanding of detail connections, materials, techniques and design.

In addition to this Nick has excelled in the use of graphic programs, 3D modeling work, photo rendering and BIM. He currently teaches these programs as an instructor at Ranken Tech. in St. Louis.

Nick is detail oriented and is proficient at all levels of the architectural process from developing schematic layouts to field work and construction documents. Nick also has experience in construction and as a fabricator which drives his passion for detail.
